1. I release and hold harmless Halftime Dance Showcase, its owners and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me while participating in the festival or any activities under the control and supervision of Halftime Dance Showcase, its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises. 2. For good and valuable consideration, I grant the permission necessary to participate in the Halftime Dance Showcasel. I acknowledge and agree that such participation subjects me to the possibility of physical illness or injury (minimal, serious, catastrophic and/or death) and that I am assuming the risk of such illness or injury by participating. In the event of such illness or injury, I authorize Halftime Dance Showcase to obtain necessary medical treatment for me and hereby release and hold harmless Halftime Dance Showcase in the exercise of this authority. 3. I acknowledge that I will be responsible for any and all medical and related bills that may be incurred on my behalf for any illness or injury that I may sustain during the festival and while traveling to and from the site for the festival.
