Our vision is to cultivate confident, ambitious young women, resulting in increased community morale and fearless performers.

Company DIVISIONS
BABY DIAMONDS
Ages 5 - 8
Baby Diamonds is our youngest division of The Diamond MVMT. We nurture their natural creativity, fostering a safe and joyful space for them to explore dance, and inspire unwavering confidence, allowing them to build the technical fundamentals needed to excel as aspiring dancers.
OUR PRECIOUS DIAMONDS
Ages 9 - 13
Our Precious Diamonds (OPD) is mmersed in sassiness, these performers train in HBCU Dance (majorette), Jazz, and development in Ballet and Hip-Hop
THE DIAMOND DANCERS DANCE TEAM
Ages 14 - 17
We consider the Diamond Dancers Dance Team (D3), our teen division of The Diamond MVMT, our most versatile group of dancers. With a primary focus on HBCU Dance training and audition preparation, these dancers cross-train in a variety of dance genres, including Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary and/or Modern, and Hip-Hop as a means of becoming well-rounded dancers.
THE DIAMOND CO.
Ages 18 to adults
The Diamond Co. (DCO) is our dance company targeted towards adult performers. With a focus on Street Jazz-influenced movements, dancers learn the importance of intentionality, balance, and full-body awareness through technical dance training, for performance execution in heels, sneakers, or barefoot.
Training Schedule
Our Fall 24 semester will begin on Sunday, August 25th. Open enrollment ends September 8th.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an audition or tryout required?
No. We do not audition potential members. Aside from casting calls, all dancers are welcome and will not be turned away.
What fees are associated with being a member of the company and performing? How is payment due?
Membership fees are assigned and vary between divisions. These fees cover costumes, performance participation in productions, travel & lodging, and more. Fundraising is an essential part of our programming, helping us offer a high quality experience to each dancer, and retain our standard of excellence. It is our deepest desire to decrease any potential financial burdens for our participants and families. Through the act of philanthropy, dancers will have access to fundraising and donation opportunities.
